My Review
The Trap is Catherine Ryan Howard’s seventh crime fiction novel, and in my view, it stands shoulder to shoulder with her gripping work, 56 Days.
The story draws inspiration from a series of real-life, still-unsolved abductions of young women that occurred in Ireland during the 1990s.
We are introduced to Lucy, a woman consumed by a desperate need to uncover the truth about her missing sister, Nicki. Driven by this obsession, Lucy embarks on dangerous late-night quests, hoping to confront Nicki’s abductor – or perhaps even her killer…
I don’t want to reveal too much, but this book is packed with twists and turns – I absolutely loved it. Catherine Ryan Howard is a must-read author for me.
