My Review

This is a psychological thriller novella that is incredibly psychological indeed! Young Dutch couple Rex and Saskia make a stop off for fuel on their road trip to the South of France. Rex is waiting for Saskia to return with cold drinks for the remainder of their trip, only she vanishes…

8 years pass by and although Rex has moved on, he is still haunted by the events from the petrol station. What happened to Saskia? And how far will Rex go to find out?

I adored this book – especially the end.

Did you know the book has been made into two films? One Dutch and one American.
