The Teacher’s Secret begins with the mysterious disappearance of teacher Cate and her son, Archie. Cate’s husband, Oliver, who is also the headteacher, starts behaving very suspiciously – though he’s not the only one in the town with secrets. We also meet Lexi, a substitute teacher who has her own reasons for preferring to move around rather than settle in one place.
The story is full of intriguing twists. While you may think you’ve figured out some of the elements, there are plenty of surprises and unexpected turns that keep you on your toes. It’s a very enjoyable read!
