Tonight, I ventured over to Leeds to meet my friend Jo. We enjoyed a fantastic meal at House of Fu, where I had the Shoyu Beef Mazesoba – it was absolutely delicious! After that, we stopped by Roxy for a quick cocktail before heading to Waterstones for the In Conversation event featuring Steve Cavanagh and Alex North.
I’m a huge fan of Steve Cavanagh’s books, particularly the Eddie Flynn series, so it was a real treat to hear him discuss the eighth entry, Witness 8. Having seen Steve speak before at the Theakston Old Peculier Crime Writing Festival, I already knew he’s an engaging and hilarious speaker.
A big thank you to Alex North as well for hosting such an enjoyable talk. I’m also grateful to both authors for signing their books for me.
