Thank you so much to everyone who voted for me in the UK Book Blogger Awards. I am absolutely thrilled to have made the shortlist for the Rising Star award. I started my Instagram account @bethreadscrime a little over a year ago as someone who absolutely loved attending the Theakstons Crime Writing Festival, and after posting about books on my personal account since 2011, I felt it was time to create a dedicated space for them. I love that it’s introduced me to some new people, both in real life and online. Everyone is so helpful and friendly.
I am currently sitting at home with my golden retriever, Daisy, who is recovering from TPLO surgery, so this was a very welcome and lovely piece of news to receive!
