My Review

Such Quiet Girls is a tense, emotionally charged thriller inspired by the real-life 1976 Chowchilla kidnapping. It follows a chilling scenario: a school bus full of children aged 7 to 12 is hijacked. The kids are taken to an isolated location, trapped within a buried shipping container and held for ransom.

From the very first page, this one doesn’t hang about. The action kicks off immediately, throwing you headfirst into a high-stakes, high-anxiety nightmare.

Dark, harrowing and unflinching in how it handles trauma, fear and survival. Due to the pacing, you’ll race through this one.

Thanks to Pan Macmillan and Book Break for kindly sending me this gifted copy in order to take part on the tour.
