I say this all the time but honestly but favourite independent bookshop, Criminally Good Books in York, is hitting it out of the park with their events.
This time I headed over on the train to meet my friend Jo at the House of Trembling Madness, the venue for the evening’s talk.
M. W. Craven was chatting to Claire Wilson about his latest book The Final Vow. All from behind the bar! Surprisingly he has never done bar work before so sadly neither were pouring pints, though we did get them beforehand!
It was great to hear Mike talk more in-depth about his books and writing. I also really need to read Claire’s Five by Five as it sounds SO good and I have heard amazing things about it from Susie at In My Good Books Podcast.
