This was my second time attending the Crime Writing Festival, and it was even better than the first! This year, I decided to book myself onto the Creative Thursday writing day. It was an absolute blast – full of engaging activities and insightful tips that have truly enriched my writing journey.
While exploring the festival, I was thrilled to come across a sampler and a quirky rubber duck for Death Comes to Marlow, a series I absolutely adore by Robert Thorogood. It’s those little surprises that make the festival experience even more special!
One of the highlights of the weekend was the secret password bar tab, generously provided by Richard Osman. Thanks to him, we enjoyed some free drinks, adding a touch of excitement to the evening. And of course, we couldn’t miss the late-night quiz, which was just as fun and competitive as last year. We had an absolute blast
Pictured below the stack of either proofs I received or books bought during the festival!
